The First Descendant is kicking off its limited-time open beta in less than a week and Nexon has pulled out all the stops to get the hype train rolling for the upcoming looter shooter. Fans can now check out the first 17 minutes of gameplay in the new prologue trailer and a quick look at a stealthy new cyber ninja character.
In the prologue trailer, you’ll get to follow the heavily armored Ajax as he makes his way through the game’s newly added prologue. Along the way, you’ll be treated to an extended look at the tank character in action as he makes his way through the fantasy sci-fi-world.
The second video shows off a new assassin character named Sharen Julicia, a cybernetic ninja who can use her speed and camouflage ability to make quick work of her enemies.
The First Descendant is set to begin crossplay open beta testing on September 19th and will feature 11 base characters and the ultimate versions of Lepic and Viessa. Players will have access to over 50 different weapons and hundreds of game-changing modules that they can employ across three unique maps.
